We are on a hiatus during which we'll be contacting contributors and collating the first edition of the Matryoshka Poetry Magazine. So, we're on a break and that means no weekly prompts! We're leaving July's prompt below for those who need a little prompting!
July has been an eventful month - to say the least - worldwide and for many, it has been a sad or tumultuous time. So, I've decided to reach backwards in time for a concept that has been lost to most contemporary societies, the Hope Chest.
Take it, run with it, twist it to your own needs and preferences and let it lead you in new poetic directions:
